Gorgeous Makeup Pieces for Autumn/Fall {September 2017}

There’s few things I love more than when I see the evenings growing shorter and the warm winter clothes arriving into stores. My next favourite thing would be buying said clothes and then picking out Autumnal makeup pieces to match the vibe! Having taken a nice two week break away from blogging it feels good to be writing again and what better thing to write about than makeup!

Lipstick are definitely the thing that people notice the most that we change-up for Autumn/Winter. We go from pretty pinks and nude shades in the Summer to dark grungy shades of red and plums in Autumn/Winter. There are a huge variety of lip products I love for this time of year, it was difficult to choose just four!

Top L-R: MAC ‘Diva’, MAC ‘Oh Lady, Nars ‘Unspeakable’, Too Faced Limited Edition ‘Gingerbread’

What’s the next things after lip products that people notice? Eye products for sure, and if you don’t like wearing a dark lip why not try playing around with some eyeshadow palettes. Browns, Coppers, Golds and burnt Oranges always look stunning and are especially suited this time of year. I’ve featured some gorgeous palettes that contain such shades below that are perfect for Autumn/Fall.

 Top L-R: Morphe 35 ‘Colour Fall into Frost’, MAC ‘Burgundy Times 9’, Huda Beauty ‘Rose Gold Palette’, Urban Decay ‘Naked Heat’

We often don’t realise how adding colour using blush and highlighters actually make a huge difference. If we just applied a base of foundation we would just look like a blank canvas so blush and highlighters are super important to add colour and depth. Below are some stunning shades that I absolutely love the look of!

Hourglass Blush ‘Mood Exposure’, MAC Blush ‘Mocha’, Sleek Highlight ‘Cleopatra’s Kiss’, Urban Decay Highlight ‘After Glow’
