Firstly I need to apologise to everyone for being so absent from the blogging world since my last post. Life always seems so busy and I find it hard to get time to blog sometimes! But, now that Halloween is over, everyone is beginning to get into the festive spirit so before December comes around, I will share my October favourites with you!
River Island Top: I absolutely love this top from River Island. It’s camel/beige in colour with cut out shoulders. I like pairing it with jeans and boots but it can easily be dressed up too. The ‘cold shoulder’ trend definitely seems to be big for Autumn/Winter so this top fits right in!
Urban Decay Primer Potion-Original: Until recently I didn’t understand the hype around eyeshadow bases such as this. I didn’t see much of a difference between what the eyeshadow looked like after using primer compared to without using it, until recently. It’s incredible the difference primer makes! It allows the shadow to stay on for longer and keeps it from creasing. I would definitely recommend the original primer potion by Urban Decay.
Cocoa Brown ‘Gentle Bronze’ Gradual Tan: Having briefly mentioned this in my Cocoa Brown Tan post, I’ve since been using this gradual tanner a lot more. I have always been a big fan of the CB One Hour Tan but have fallen in love with ‘Gentle Bronze’ recently. I apply it every second day which leaves a gorgeous golden glow to the skin. It fades off quite evenly but on days I do not apply the tan I like to moisturise using Chocolate Whip by CB, also mentioned in my post linked above.
Essie ‘Lilacism’ Nail Polish: I’m in love with the colour of this polish. It’s a light purple or lilac as the name states. 2 coats does the job and it lasts for ages, even without a top coat.
Yankee Candle ‘ Black Coconut’: Bought for me by some friends as a gift, this candle smells amazing. It has a light coconut scent with a slight floral aroma coming through also. It freshens up a room instantly.
The Vampire Diaries: Season 7 of one of my favourite shows has finally returned! The Vampire Diaries, a show based on all things supernatural- Vampires (clearly), witches, werewolves and many more is gripping and addictive. I was skeptical about the 7th season because a main character had left the show but I was proven wrong, the show continues to be great!
Until next time,
